Keynote Speaker Ⅰ

Prof. Ruqiang Yan, IEEE Fellow

Xi'an Jiaotong University

Yan Ruqiang, professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, director of International Machinery Center of High-end Equipment Research Institute, IEEE Fellow of International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and ASME Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He has won the first prize of Technological Invention in Shaanxi Province in 2020 (as the first finisher), the first prize of Natural Science in the Ministry of Education in 2020 (as the second finisher), and the Technical Award of IEEE Instrument and Measurement Society in 2019. Moreover, there are more than 20 invention patents of Prof. Yan that have been authorized in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China etc., as well as over 100 journal papers published in IEEE and ASME journals, Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Instrumentation etc. He also led the formulation of one IEEE international standard. Prof. Yan is currently the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and the editorial board member of English versions of IEEE Sensors Journal and Journal of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Chi Liu

Beijing Institute of Technology

Prof. Chi (Harold) Liu received the Ph.D. degree from Imperial College, UK in 2010, and the B.Eng. degree from Tsinghua University, China in 2006. He is currently a Full Professor and Vice Dean at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, China, and also the Director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing. Before moving to academia, he worked for IBM Research – China, Deutsche Telekom Laboratories, Germany, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, USA. His current research interests include the Mobile Crowdsensing and Deep Reinforcement Learning. He received the ACM KDD'21 Best Paper Award – Runner up and ACM MobiCom'21 Best Community Paper Runner-up Award. He serves as the Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions and Network Science and Engineering. He is a Fellow of IET, British Computer Society and Royal Society of Arts.

Prof. Philippe Fournier-Viger

Shenzhen University

Philippe Fournier-Viger, Ph.D. is Distinguished Professor at Shenzhen University, China and is a national talent in China. He has published more than 350 research papers in international journals and conferences related to data mining and machine learning, which have received more than 9,800 citations. He is Editor-In-Chief of the DSPR journal and former associate Editor-in-Chief of the Applied Intelligence journal. He is the founder of the popular SPMF data mining library, used in more than 1000 research papers. He is co-organizer of the UDML, MLiSE and PMDB series of workshops held at KDD, ICDM, PKDD and DASFAA as well as several special sessions for various conferences. He has been Keynote Speaker for over 15 conferences in recent years. His interests are data mining, algorithm design, pattern mining, software engineering, big data, and applications.

Prof. Tie Qiu

Tianjin University

Dr. Tie Qiu is currently a Full Professor at School of Computer Science and Technology, Tianjin University, China. Prior to this position, he held assistant professor in 2008 and associate professor in 2013 at School of Software, Dalian University of Technology. He was a visiting professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Lowa State University in U.S. (2014-2015).

He serves as an associate editor of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering (TNSE) and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, area editor of Ad Hoc Networks (Elsevier), associate editor of Computers and Electrical Engineering (Elsevier), Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer), a guest editor of Future Generation Computer Systems. He serves as General Chair, Program Chair, Workshop Chair, Publicity Chair, Publication Chair or TPC Member of a number of international conferences.

He has authored/co-authored 10 books, over 150 scientific papers in international journals and conference proceedings, such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE Communications, INFOCOM, GLOBECOM etc. There are 18 papers listed as ESI highly cited papers. He has contributed to the development of 6 copyrighted software systems and invented 20 patents. He is a distinguished member of China Computer Federation (CCF) and a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM.
